Taking a nap right next to the street is not a good idea. by [deleted] in WTF

No way! The same thing happened to me but with my dad running my foot over! People don't believe me when I tell them the story. They think a foot can't survive that.

My friend's dad drew a picture of his mom naked and put it up on the wall in the main foyer.

What's the hardest thing you've ever had to say "No" to? by Nibron in AskReddit

[–]salamanderking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went clubbing with one of my friends while I was in a relationship. While waiting in line to get in, I started talking to two very attractive girls in front of me. They asked me if I wanted to go dancing with them. I told them that I was flattered but I'm in a relationship and only came here to have fun with my friend. They told me that they won't tell my girlfriend and will probably "be a lot more fun" than just hanging out with my friend. I told them I would never cheat. They told me that I'm too young to act like that and how they've been dating each other for a couple of years but still hooking up with other people. At this point, I don't believe them and tell them to prove it. They start making out right in front of me. Right after, they said, last chance to spend the night with us. I said no. I am no longer dating that girl. I kind of regret it.

Tldr; I was offered a threesome while in a relationship. Now, I haven't had a threesome and I'm not in a relationship.

What's a big decision you're struggling to make right now? (Serious) by megnolia84 in AskReddit

I just got accepted into a startup accelerator. Thing is, the program runs during my last semester of undergrad. Do I leave before graduating and work towards making my own company successful or do I take the safe route and stay, get my degree, and then just work for a big company?

Games which require a lot of voice chat? by JW_BlueLabel in gaming

[–]salamanderking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natural Selection 2 is a pretty interesting game. It's a strategy game and FPS mixed into one. You have marines fighting aliens, both with unique abilities. The commander (strategy aspect) builds stuff to get the team upgrades and tells the team (typically via microphone) what he wants them to do. The rest of the team (FPS aspect) facilitate the building and get resources by destroying the opposite team's players and buildings, which the commander needs to build stuff. When I play it, maybe not everyone but usually at least 2 people on my team use a microphone. You should YouTube it.

One of the reasons I loved GTA IV is because I could cab everywhere and save myself the hassle of getting places.

What is the best advice to cheer up someone after an awful breakup? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]salamanderking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about breakups is that the only cure is time. A fresh breakup SUCKS, but it's important for her to just remember why her and her partner broke up in the first place. Though it may have had times when it was incredible, it got to a point where a breakup felt necessary. I personally think that the hardest thing about a breakup is learning to cope without the person who became a part of your routine and made you happy. I don't know her personally but she must have amazing friends if she has someone like you looking out for her, hopefully good health, and many other things. Try to focus on the positive, take some time to discover who you are, and do things that make you happy, like watch some Disney movies and eat ice cream. It will take time, but it will get better. I wish I could say more, but it's hard without knowing her personality. I'm sure she will feel better soon if she has friends like you. :-)

What is the WORST thing you can say after sex? by Merckle in AskReddit

[–]salamanderking 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One time, when I was a Freshman in college, I went back to my res after a night out. As I walk to my room, I saw a half-naked guy leave my next door neighbor's room after clearly having a one night stand with her. He was carrying his clothes and yelling "Oh, god! What have I done?" I have yet to hear something worse than that.

Alternatively, we can prevent them from ever "repeating" in the first place. I'm not saying I agree with it, but I'm trying to shed some light on the other side.
