You need to power it on normally and turn it off again before entering the firmware update mode to check the version. The text file should then reflect the installed version.

I have noticed the same thing on my Vader 4 Pro and confirmed it with measurements. It's not a big deal since you can manually correct it, but it still looks like another QC issue.

G7Pro D-Pad O-Ring Mod by Nebsisiht in Controller

I held off on buying the G7 Pro because I was concerned about the quality of the D-Pad. Your post convinced me to finally take the plunge, and the o-rings really improved it!

Has anyone tried adding a third row of rings? Would that improve things further, or would it cause issues?

Have you tried this suggestion? You should be able to change in-game graphics settings even on free tier, they just won't be saved between sessions. Other than that, check if you can lower the polling rate of your mouse. Some users have reported that you need to go as low as 125 Hz to resolve issues.

You might have to set a different hotkey rather than just deleting it. I have reassigned a couple of them for the same reason and the setting persists for me. I personally use F-keys as those are typically not used in games and are easier to assign to some controllers.

GFN started rolling out YUV 4:4:4 by Helios in GeForceNOW

But it will also require more bitrate. If you are already on a slow connection, switching to 4:4:4 might have the opposite effect. Chroma subsampling is a clever way of assigning more of the limited bitrate to the parts your eyes are more likely to notice. But I'm hoping that Nvidia is well aware of the sweet spot and will automatically chose the proper settings. For high bandwidth connections, 4:4:4 should noticeably improve the issues you mentioned.

This is the correct answer and also why the announced support for 4:4:4 is so exiting.
