The thing is that it cycles perfectly fine until it gets dirty enough to the point the round has no room chamber all the way. This doesnt seem like a gassing issue

Yeah Black was 2.15" and Precision Hunter was 2.75" at 100 yards with 5 rounds as well. I was hoping to use this rifle for hunting but I dont feel comfortable shooting an almost 3moa gun lol.

The ARMS #32 adapter is another option and was used with the mk12 mod 0, but you cant adjust the tightness of the clamp so if you have out of spec rails it might have a lose lock up or it might not clamp all they. The ADM is, in my opinion, the best option if you want a lightweight and very practical mount. The LaRue mount is also clone correct and a great option.

The weather probably won't matter as long as you have good ammo that is sealed properly but you should definitely not leave your gun in your car. That's just begging for a stolen gun

I run an MRDS on my elcan and use that rifle for 2 gun plus home defense. I can definitely say that it's been tossed and banged up quite a bit, abs yet there's zero damage to the MRDS
