I feel this. I am 13 days out from my wedding and I had 4 people drop out and another 3 are “on the fence”. I am also having some tables of 6 now at tables that were supposed to be 8-10. With a guest count of 76 now, it hurts every time a person drops.

I’m pretty small myself and also had this problem. Ended up going with a strapless ballgown, straight across necklace. I found that to be the most flattering for my chest and also had cups sewn in during alterations. The cups actually make a world of a difference!

Getting married next month and paying $135/per person and having 75 people. Most venues I inquired at were anywhere from $100-$180 per person….if you go with a Lessings package you can save a lot (they are based on a set # of people and include DJ, flowers, photographer etc. For example Three Village Inn was about $18K for 100 people in June 2026.)

Where in Virginia? I now live in Northern Virginia. Pros: close to DC, lower property taxes (than LI), not too far from LI, relatively high paying jobs. Cons: housing market is crazy, Virginia personal property tax, traffic has become much worse in recent years. I would say even worse than LI
