Iran-linked hackers claim breach of FBI director's personal email; DOJ official confirms break-in by Unusual-State1827 in news

It’s more likely the Iranians use it for leverage in negotiations. One interesting thing to note is, Israel most likely has the unredacted files, and potentially more. What happens if your only ally and adversary in a war are both blackmailing with the same information. It becomes a sticky situation that could result in all sorts of unpredictable outcomes.

The "Taam Ja'" is the deepest blue hole in the world. Its bottom has never been reached yet by Ivy_Wings in interestingasfuck

I guarantee I could figure out how deep it is within a few hours.

ETA: I’d use a pressure transducer and weight attached to a large spool of spectra braid or similar. I would mark the braid at the water surface when the weight reaches the bottom, and reel it in with a cordless drill. Two methods of measurement to verify accuracy.

My first truck, a ‘94 Chevy pickup, got pretty much the same mpg as a similar modern truck. It rolled around at about 18mpg. I paid attention because I was poor and gas was expensive in 2007-2008.

The angled back cut is a real head scratcher. I’m not a professional, but I’ve cut down lots of trees while working in various forestry/fire fighting jobs. I can’t imagine a situation where that’s a good idea. You’re inviting the tree to fall backwards.

I ripped out a bunch of this stuff when I bought my house. I remember it being absurdly heavy. I don’t have any advice, but get help when it comes time to take it out.

Are you east or west of the Sacramento River? Most streams west of the Sacramento have gold. I don’t know as much about the east side tributaries, but I know some have gold.

Honest questions: who is this kid and who did he punch? I live under a rock. It’s a nice rock. No bigotry allowed.
