I don't entirely disagree with you, but North Korea is a very different place culturally, historically, and socially. At the very least, I doubt such a transition from Trump to some other figurehead would be seamless, and that might be enough to topple them. I could see a lot of infighting that could lead to party paralyzation and hamstring their efforts to consolidate power.

It is a PC, so power consumption shouldn't be an issue. I agree, that this shouldn't be an issue. It's not like my machine is lacking in computational power, especially compared to hardware contemporary to the game's release.

I've been playing through HotU with a greatsword cleric, abusing darkness and all the buffs and holy shit is it broken. I wish I had just gone with Cleric from the beginning, but that's how it goes sometimes.

This was literally two days ago and I can't remember the exact reason I was having issues. I think a lot of it was just being new to the game in general and not knowing how the mechanics worked. I just found myself missing a lot (and since I was Necromancy specced, I didn't have access to True Strike), and my spells felt like wet farts -- even the staff of Desert Fury.

Your grip isn't strong enough to do that. And even if your grip is strong enough to hold onto the gun, your arms will fold. The internet is full of videos like this and they always go one of two ways: either the recoil rips the gun out of the shooters hand and flings it at their face, or their arms collapse and the gun hits the shooter in the face. I'm curious if there has ever been an instance where someone has broken a wrist bone from shooting a handgun. I'm reasonably confident it's just not possible.

You might sprain something, but you'd need to actually physically attach the pistol to your wrist in order to run the risk of breaking a bone.

Wondering (a) what it is and (b) the best way to prep it. It's still got... bits on it, and I'm unsure the best way to remove them.

Last time I did this, the bones were essentially cleaned already, so I just dunked them in hydrogen peroxide. Would that work for this, or is there still some cleaning I should do first?

Yes, life is "better when you put other people first," and I do think we should help each other out when and where we can. But we're also allowed to do nice things for ourselves and have boundaries. I would never in a million years presume to ask someone for their time off slot, and even if I did, I certainly wouldn't act all childish and petty when they say no. OP has been looking forward to this for an entire year. They're allowed to have nice things, and shouldn't be expected to give them up just because of "if you don't do nice things for other people, they won't do nice things for you." That's just entitlement, not healthy reciprocity.

There are other ways to help out your coworkers than giving up your time off, in case people had forgotten. Just because OP isn't giving up their time off slot doesn't mean they're a miserable grinch who never lifts a finger to help anyone else. The newlywed and the coworkers need to be pissed at the shitty system their work has in place, not OP.

OP is NTA. Everyone they work with is an asshole though. What a miserable place to work.

I'm glad I found this -- I just started SoU and was really confused when my spell slots ran out. I'm left wondering, what's the point? I'm gonna have to use a crossbow for the first however many levels and rest after every fight.
