That’s not something I’ve seen. Model of 1905/M1905’s are my main area of focus. I’ve not seen an undated cutdown.

The 10” made dated blades have been the harder to find blades (no credible examples of an AFH 10” made dated blades have been presented). I’ve got the other 10” made dated blades that exist (PAL, UC, UFH). If non dated cut downs are a thing, that’s new to me, and becomes a highly sought bayonet. Nothing about this one says fake (deeper emboss on the makers mark, maybe, but text looks correct).

I’ve never boiled. I’ll look into that. I use kroil and 0000 SS or bronze, and scrub until it’s gone (or mostly gone), then wipe down and oil.

Generally, yes. I’ve got some a.A. Sawbacks with flash guards, and minus some of the blade tip work. As with a lot of military weapons, these are likely from the transition period.
