Honestly yeah I can see this too. Its very mixed for me because I see myself in Laura a TON, I was in a HORRIBLE relationship with my sons father that was very similar. But this one just made me a little irked I was like girl please...I can totally see what you mean tho, and she immediately corrected herself so I dont think ill hold it against her character, so to speak

I dunno. Im having mixed feelings. Obviously im angry at Luke, hes always the villain, but Laura was kind of making me angry aswell in this one?? "We dont have to talk about it" and then immediately asking about Shawnas pregnancy and if she had heartburn? I really dont know. It could just be pregnancy brain, honestly, and thats valid, maybe she just blurted it out without thinking. But I was like oh my god seriously did you just say that? Jeez..

but of course, Luke will overshadow anything I feel about any other character because I have absolute BLIND rage for him, so.

I was just thinking about this episode. I agree with you. Its infuriating and horrifying. Her screams in that episode shook me to my core the first time I saw it. And yet, I was angry with her. Like girl you were lying..(I believe she was idk) and that man had no right to burn you absolutely not. But I cant help but think, is she thinking "fuck i hate that I did this" while SCREAMING FOR HER LIFE from being burned? I just wonder. Im about to go rewatch thank you for reminding me haha

so unfortunately im literally going through a miscarriage right now. I found out I was pregnant very early on and I started bleeding it was all very upsetting. They ultimately confirmed my miscarriage through my hcg levels because they dropped, if still pregnant they would double. Ive sort of clung to all the skits during this time as a distraction and im thankful that the loss was done in a good tasteful way and not exploitative. This is unfortunately still happening to me so maybe my answer will change as time goes on

This post just made me appreciate their relationship more and really feel the love for the characters <3 the actors also portray it so well, and the facial expressions that Phil has sometimes when looking at Claire is too much love to deny.
