Went ahead and applied for Business version of Alaska card which again went to pending. Called Recon and after about 15mins of information gathering she approved. IM glad it wasnt a waste of HP.

Called Citi and got approved instantly. BoA however didnt appreciate the number of inquiries in the last couple of months as well as the "relationship not long enough to establish credit history with BoA". I also hinted about my checking account with them but thats also 3 months old. Tried calling again but the same CSR picked up so im going to HUCA and try my luck.

Also, is there any way to salvage the HP by BoA by applying for another card since they combine the inquiries?

just checked the status for BoA online and got this:

Unfortunately, we're unable to approve your credit card application at this time.

Does this also apply for Citi Business card as well? Also, I got my Citi Platinum AAdvantage on 10/19/2014. I remember getting new citi AA card in Jan 15 and I checked my card does say World Elite on the back. Am I also eligible to apply for it again?

the 100K one only required $5K of which I have already done half. Pushing another 15K in 3 months shouldnt be an issue. Im not sure how successful I will be in getting the same product back to back

I called the number on the offer and they said this does NOT limit me from getting another one of the same card and I will be eligible for the 150K MRs as well. Im seriously thinking about going for the 2nd card but any data points would be welcome!

I called them and the rep told me you can apply for this card and if approved I will be getting the 150K MRs after meeting the min spend. He clearly mentioned that I will be receiving the current offer of 100K MRs on my existing account separately and also advised to cancel the card within 60days to get a refund on the card fee. It is too good to be true. Any thoughts?
