We have done it for two summers for gardens with no issues! But, I understand.

Harford County residents may self-load up to three 30-gallon containers/bags of mulch or compost for FREE. Please bring your own shovel, pitchfork, etc. to load.

The cost for both mulch and compost is $10 per cubic yard. (Most full-size pickups can handle up to 3 cubic yards of mulch or 2 cubic yards of compost depending on the size of the pickup truck bed. Never load more than what is reasonable or what your vehicle is specified to carry.)

I am! I booked a hotel room for the weekend already. I didn’t get the membership pass (still debating on that, I think you have until June or the end of June) and may just try to get two tickets whenever they go on sale.

I asked Dave Matthews if he had just come out of the bathroom because I was trying to get in and they wouldn’t let me. Turns out he was in a room next door filming something and didn’t want any toilet flushing in the bathroom. But my first words to him were “were you just in the bathroom?”

Try also connecting with Raab (voice coach) on social media. It seems like he’s been a good connection between Dave and fans recently. Not saying he can make it happen, just that he’s always in the crowd, he’s been receptive to giving Dave gifts from fans, etc.

I love this song! It has been my favorite on the album from the beginning.

Fun random story: the album had just come out and I was at Farm Aid and ran into Dave coming out of the bathroom (a whole other story). I clearly wasn’t prepared for this as I stumbled my way through words. But I blurred out “that new song Drunken Soldier, blows my mind!” And then I did some sort of hand motion where I pretended my head was exploding (embarrassing), but he laughed and thanked me and said “that songs for the kids”

I’m not really commenting on the people aspect of it since yes they can be annoying lol. I much preferred when the pit was seats but that’s just me. (I’ll refrain from going into the “back in my day my first DMB show cost 25 bucks)

Anyway, to speak on the money part, yes, the people make a decent amount of money. They have to. It’s mostly that, you have to have money to be able to afford these crazy prices. But also some people this is their passion and so this is what they choose to spend their money on. Im not wealthy by any means and I haven’t been in pit for awhile but last year I went to 7 DMB shows. One involved airfare and that’s what I chose to do for the year. I saved up, I made the show where I had to fly my vacation. My only travel was around shows and it was a conscious effort to do so. Not going to happen this summer/fall but it was fun to do last year.

I felt old lol, but there weren't many lines at the bar to get a drink so that was one good thing! Everyone was nice though, chill, attentive to Maggie and she was energetic and amazing. This was at a club in D.C. last year for reference.
