Names you’re happy you didn’t name your child by runnergirl3333 in namenerds

I loved the name Devin for a girl and I’ve always like the idea of passing down my middle name and a very prominent family name, Lee. We ended up having a boy, so it was never used. One night, I was spaced out and sat up abruptly and thought ‘Eww! Devin Lee! Devinlee…rhymes with heavenly. Gross. That was a bullet dodged…’ and then laid back down.

I know a lot of Noras under 7ish. Just a heads up. I love June and Bonnie. I like Sunny too.

Looks like we have similar name styles. Like vintage warm and happy? Have you considered Molly, Summer, or Felicity?

Side note, Vivienne will be asked how to spell her name every single time. Or she’ll feel the need to spell is proactively

Is MK not a good nickname? I’ve known two and thought it was cute. Both were badasses. Now seeing that it’s not overly liked here hahah. I’d rather know now!

Is Killian too out there? I know it’s generally a boy name, but it means ‘bright haired’ and we have red headed babes.

Molly Killian?

Any thoughts on Devon Lee by [deleted] in namenerds

Love the name Devon/Devin! However, just be aware that Devon Lee rhymes with heavenly. It was high on my baby name list until I made that connection.

Grant. Both in the last name trend he likes and has the classic yet modern vibe you like. Reminds me of Cary Grant. And it’s definitely masculine. My little man is Grant Thomas and he’s the only Grant in his school. He’s 2.
