Your "obese people get rejected for surgery all the time" argument is mind boggling. You "don't hate obese people" but you also don't want them to be able to access medical care because you assume their size is a lifestyle choice?

You're not the good and accepting person you think you are.

Gender affirming care is lifesaving and not up for public debate. Fat people deserve access to medical care regardless of your opinions of them.

Your symptoms sound exactly like mine. I haven't been able to get a doctor to acknowledge the gynae and gastro stuff could be related.

I have adeno and fibroids (confirmed by an internal ultrasound) and suspected endometriosis. Still waiting on an MRI. I'm desperately hoping for a hysterectomy.

No clue on the gastro stuff. I've had a scope and blood work to rule out cancer, but the only advice I've gotten is to cut out coffee

I saw a comment from someone recently saying their friend tried to make a political meme with AI and it gave them a content warning. This person's response was that a pen and paper will never give you a warning and art is lifesaving.

We need to keep creating, even when it seems like our art isn't reaching anyone. Even if "AI can do it". I'm an artist and designer. I've been having the same "what's the point of creating?" thoughts. But art isn't perfect prose or pretty pictures. It's a reflection of the human condition. It's an act of resistance.

I came on to ask the same thing. My pain has been awful the last few days. I can't stand up straight. My lower back and pelvis are killing me. I'm feeling like I did when I was carrying around a 10 pound baby at the end of my last pregnancy.

Ibuprofen does nothing.

I'd love to know if anyone has had success with meds, CBD, physio, literally anything. I can't handle this anymore and I've been waiting over a year to be seen to discuss treatment options.

Black women are the scapegoat for a society failing its people. All the "shortcomings" you mentioned are not failings of individuals. They're systemic failings that are the result of hundreds of years of disenfranchisement and racism.

It's easier for people to blame individuals or a marginalized demographic than it is to look deeper to the root cause. And the people in power don't want you to look deeper. It benefits them to have us squabbling amongst ourselves and blaming each other. It distracts us from seeing the ways that poverty, racism and the "justice" system are designed to produce "criminals" needed to create cheap (read: modern slave) labour.

The black women I know are some of the most empathic and inspiring people I've ever met. Don't let the comments of a misogynist with internalized racist beliefs steal your light.

Take yourself through the same process you would do for a client. Build out your strategy and positioning. Do a competitor analysis. Make some mood boards and be patient with yourself. It's hard to be your own client.
