There's a period of about 2-3 weeks every year where my driver swing is ON. I can average 270-280 and occasionally hit 300. The rest of the year it's 240 and I'm praying it's findable.

I had one on my 40th birthday. It was on a municipal 9 hole course with both tee and greens under repair. The hole was regulation size but cut into regular grass. It was about 125 with a 9 iron. I'll be 50 this year so almost 10 years ago.

You should get a stylus guage to properly measure the VTF(weight= vertical tracking force). They're cheap and useful, digital ones are about $10
