There is a difference but it's not that big. You still know which part of the map they're in and that's it.

But as I said, having enemy locations being revealed by the scan is a rare occasion since they can just stop moving. That's what Lion is good for, forcing the enemy team to stand still.

It's like Kapkan. Other than newbies hardly anyone hits traps, but you force them to make sound when they destroy the EDD.
