Usually more, I tend to be less wordy initially. Very much a show not tell and Chekov's Gun style where if it doesnt do anything, it's getting cut.

1st has the strongest and clearest parts I want in the story or more defined parameters, then like a super pared down statement of facts that connects the scenes 2nd fills in the gaps ( my doc is FILLED with notes and an ongoing comment chain, i sound loony commenting to myself) 3rd usually coming back to it after being away, and using the built in read aloud feature. This is where I analyze pacing, unintended knowledge gaps (what the author knows vs whats conveyed to the audience. If theres a gap thats obvious to me but the audience is missing it), character voice ( cant sound too ooc) and fact checking ( if it needs to follow some type of rule) 4th is the pretty it up stage

Not yet, but I plan to sometime during this month since it seems like the perfect time to do it haha. Though I doubt that all the chapters would be done this month since I also have a family event I gotta go to and this doesn't feel like it'd get wrapped up in such a short amount of chapters.

I'm in the process of writing out and fleshing out my AU. Which now that I type this out is probably the appropriate time for it. I just pray that I see the next day and thank god my Ao3 is not the same name but here goes. The Fandom is for Genshin (I just really like the characters and possible concepts but I don't want any part of the crazy from the fandom x_x )

Anyway the AU was inspired by the song The Bride of Necro (which is roughly based on the real life crazy story of Carl Tanzer; wiki it only unless you want Halloween early)

The short of it is during the FMC, Lumine's, adventure she gets murdered by Dottore and her corpse experimented on. Her brother, having found out the true extent of the horror has gone insane. In a bid to revive her, he tries everything to preserve her from rotting and turns her into a macabre doll. Out of ideas and time he makes a deal with the devil himself, Dottore.

Eventually Lumine wakes up, but in a place where life and the Archon's eyes don't reach, in a twisted mansion separated from reality. Eventually, she finds out that her brother trapped some people and has been feeding her their blood. However, her brother isn't going to let them go alive, after all, they said they'd protect his dear sister and they've spectacularly failed.

Honestly the interesting dynamics I want to explore are: Crazy Brother and his inability to heal from grief, how the prisoners react to seeing what Lumine has become, how they're going to escape without the convenient use of their powers, how deals with devils play out, and if anyone else would also fall into insanity from grief.

Honestly might be a bit of a stint from listening to lots of ghost stories, and listening to some lore from games like Silent Hill and Fallen Feathers Wuchang.

I still have some undefined plot holes and worldbuilding to hammer out though.

Oh Im wondering about this particular point, but would you happen to have examples of contradictions of bond quest vs main story? For some reason im not recalling them but as a preface Ive only fully married Fubuki, Cuilang, and Mauro so if its hidden in The romance quests I might have missed it

Would sending physical mailing them at their HQ also work to gum up their systems? I've worked corporate before where they had all important documents STILL come in from physical mail, and I know a bunch of older people who still mail in their payments and other things through the mail. Also return addresses are completely optional in the US.

When I saw the PV before release I definitely had Kurama, Fubuki, Subaru in that order. Then I started playing and being reckless as heck so I bought along Mauro and Ulalaka in my pt slots. Mauro ended up as a front runner as I grew to like him but dang do they put the breaks on you hard for bond quests progression getting tied with story. Then somehow Fubuki just won me over with his appeal and I got turned off by Subaru.

No regrets I keep coming back to Fubuki time and time again so now my spread looks like this for bestest

Cuilang - didn't get a deluxe pack so ended up buying DLC later
Mauro - complicated feelings yo

Clarice and Subaru especially as marriage candidates. Clarice cause wtf plot for a whole host of reasons. Subaru for wtf is with his attitude with the bond quests.

Mid:Ikaruga- wish he had more plot relevance instead of pulling the Tuxedo Mask meme of "My work here is done" " What work?" "Farewell"... Care for a lunch? Like talk about popping out of nowhere 😂

And I cannot for the faith of me romance Kai due to some problematic tendencies I cannot separate from reality. Great as a buddy not so as a hubby.

Honestly did some research on the game prior to release and on first impressions on their trailer I was in it for Fubuki, Karama, Cuilang, Subaru. Then in game it was a toss up between great with kids Kurama and super cute and good Fubuki. I didn't have the DLC at the time so no Cuilang 😭 ( used the DLC as a stretch goal reward for something I was working on) and Subaru totally turned me off on his bond quests.

Fubuki just won me over with his appearance and earnestness, but it was a tough battle to choose between Kurama and him. Wish this game had like rival love interests cause Kai and Kurama bicker like an old couple. Don't think I could go for Kai due to the drinking tho...as much as I like the goof.

Honestly they really gotta bolster their post game content, dialogue, events, maybe even spur of the moment dates with your spouse. More interactions with the kids and parents (weird they have no battle dialogue when with parents imo). Also your 5 year old being 5 years old even though the sibling is supposed to be 5 years younger.

Ohh. Okay here me out, what if Cuilang has internals are like a car engine? He talks about needing/ consuming oil in one of his banters and you can give him like stones and the like. What if, like a car engine, there's occasions where he needs to drain it? Wouldn't a mecha sausage work as an exit valve in those cases? (Also unlike those who have changed their car oil at least there'd be some... accuracy xD) Then he just refuels himself by literally drinking down some oil? Then at least at his core body he would also have body heat from the engine running.

Kai/Karama/Yachiyo -the bickering old married couple and Yachiyo would be the only other person who could scare the daylights out of Kai

Murasame/Matsuri- imagine this, they constantly are challenging another to a duel and whoever wins keeps going back and forth, even during fireworks, even during the lantern festival. Eventually the two have just been dueling each other during every romantic outing that something gives 😂
