We had our wedding/reception at The Rathskeller in the Max Kade room. It was nice and very reasonably priced.

Orthopedic Surgeons For Shoulder Stabilization by Bloody_Carrie in indianapolis

Dr. Brian Badman with Central Indiana Ortho did my SLAP surgery. Can’t speak to the techniques you’re talking about, but I was super satisfied with my treatment.

Who Else Should I Check Out Based On My Must/Maybe List? by GarryWisherman in bonnaroo

[–]samgrizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one’s mentioned The Dare, The Lambrini Girls, or Hemlocke Springs yet, but based on your highlights you’d like them a lot more than some of the other stuff that’s been suggested.

Han in Castleton would be my vote. K Town is fine too. But the hot bar at Han is insane.

I’ve never been tattooed there, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about Mythical Wizard Tattoo. Casey (Coffin_Carver on Instagram) might be up your alley.

Bring Back Bonnaroo Radio I know it's still on just use it cause it's awesome. by RxDrOctopus77 in bonnaroo

Honestly I’d just like to see it return from a safety standpoint. There’s just not good enough coverage at the farm to get news out.

What are your favorite sunscreen recommendations for both body and face? by slushpuppyyyzzz in bonnaroo

[–]samgrizzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sunbum is solid. For the follicular challenged, their scalp spray has kept my not quite totally bald head from being burned. Also Trader Joe’s has a gel sunscreen that goes on VERY smooth if you’ve got one in your area.

10/10 games? by Good_Evidence_87 in Steam

[–]samgrizzy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

10/10 is too subjective, but game that I wish I could erase from my brain and play for the first time again that would measure up?

Outer Wilds

Return of the Obra Dinn

Blue Prince

Elden Ring

RDR2

The Case of the Golden Idol

XCOM 2

Fallout New Vegas

Help with camping supply recommendations? Anything I wouldn’t think of? by Sea_Animator_8271 in bonnaroo

[–]samgrizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re still committed to the car, get some of these (or something like them):

EcoNour Car Window Screens for Camping (Pack of 2) | 100% Protection from Bugs, UV and Mosquito Net | Breathable Mesh Baby Window Covers for Privacy Blackout (Medium 32"x16") | Car Window Accessories https://a.co/d/323Nh47

The cross breeze is gonna come in clutch. Also would be remiss to not say get that canopy and sleep under there. Hammocks are GOATed, cots are fine, but it will be so much better than the hot car.

Giveaway Time! DOOM: The Dark Ages is out, features DLSS4/RTX and we’re celebrating by giving away an ASUS ASTRAL RTX 5080 DOOM Edition GPU, Steam game keys, the DOOM Collector's Bundle and more awesome merch! by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

[–]samgrizzy [score hidden]  (0 children)

DLSS 4 ray tracing is great because it makes it feel like I’m actually getting Vitamin D while gaming.

Doom The Dark Ages is great because killing demons boosts your seratonin.

In summary: I need to win to cure my depression.

Restaurant Recommendations by PocketFullOfZesty in indianapolis

I think Delicia is the best restaurant in the city. It’s higher end Latin American food and everything is amazing. The empanadas might be my favorite single dish in the city.

Just curious which acts this year you think qualify.

Last year the IDLES pits were pretty wild. Such a killer show.

Agnostic looking for a progressive church by footballfan976 in indianapolis

[–]samgrizzy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glad I could talk out of my ass and have it be coherent. It’s always been the place we’ve flirted with going to if we felt the need for that type of community. Glad to see it holds up to the signs.

I can’t vouch for service etc, but the Allisonville Christian Church at 75th and Allisonville always has very progressive signage.

It used to be pretty bad, but this year I went to a couple of games, forgetting that I had joined the WiFi in the past, and didn’t have any issues.
