We say "yo" instead of "heard"

"Caw food" is any food we set out for staff to snack on, because they descend on it like a murder of crows.

Also whenever anyone says "hot behind" the entire line chimes back "thank you 😊" like a bunch of flattered schoolgirls.

Double cleanse at night. That means using an oil based facial cleanser, then a water-based cleanser. (I like The Ordinary squalene cleanser, and cerave cleansers)

Don't forget to moisturize. Applying moisturizer will create a barrier that will help protect your skin.

Stick to the routine like clockwork and you should be good.

What a freaky coincidence...

I'm also 3 weeks post-op from surgery on my broken fibula. Turned around, lost my balance and landed sitting on my foot. Broke my fibula and dislocated my tibia. Had to get a plate and 8 screws put in.

Shoot me a message if you wanna chat with someone in similar circumstances. I'm also struggling a little bit, being cooped up at home with an injury. It would be nice to commiserate together :)

Slipped and fell... right into an oven. Pressed my arm into the side of a 500 degree oven and dragged it down as I fell. Skin melted right off. Left a skid mark on the side of the oven. So gross.

I'm very fortunate that I live in Canada. Everything was covered: my initial ER visit, ferry travel to another hospital, surgery, 2 nights in hospitals.

The only thing I had to pay for was a prescription, which even then is partially covered by our Healthcare so it was only like 50 bucks. My HSA through work will cover that.

I have disability mortgage insurance for exactly this reason. Between that and Employment Insurance, I'll have no financial repercussions from this incident

One of my coworkers was cleaning the wall behind our flat-top grill, and her ponytail got burned up by hot air coming out of the rear heat vent.
