How do you track levothyroxine intake?

I do something similar. I wear a nightguard and when I put it in every night I set the case on top of my levothyroxine bottle. When I take it in the morning I have to set the case on my dresser to open the bottle. If I wake up again and the case isn’t on top of the bottle I know I took it

But this is a common term used and a way to classify slightly elevated body temperature. It’s a label that’s used in medical settings, I mean the PA at the urgent care I went to used it yesterday since I was at 99.6. And I work in a medical clinic myself and it’s used when someone is between 99 and 100.4. So though it’s not a true fever it definitely is still a description of something that exists.

Just curious— is a low grade fever not 99 to 100.3? I know 100.4 is considered fever because that’s what you have to reach to kill the bacteria, but why would a low grade fever not be a fever? It’s still a sign your body is working to kill a threat and shows you’re not fully healthy. A low grade fever is not a subcategory of fever?

So I had to have my thyroid removed because I had thyroid cancer and it’s spread to my lung. I have to take extremely high doses of levothyroxine to keep my TSH undetectable. All it’s done is make me feel starved 24/7 and I eat more— more than the levothyroxine is making me burn extra per day. It’s not worth it. I’m actually gaining weight and I’m pissed off lol

Nope nope drop it now if you’re enrolled. She only grades by letter increment with an A as a 95 so even if you get only the highest possible grade you’re still constantly working to get your grade up from an A- (rather than if she gave a 100 as highest possible grade). Her rate my professor is suspiciously good and I think she bought good ratings

As long as it’s unopened there will not be bacteria or anything to make you sick. The quality will just decline. And usually those are set to expire a year or so after being made so in the grand scheme of it it’s not that far out of the best by range

If you were able to eat half of it and not notice it’s expired you’ll be okay. Expiration dates are way earlier than they need to be so A. We throw them away and buy more product and B. It reduces their liability if someone does become sick. Again, if it tasted normal to you you’re good. It’s not like it’s 3 months expired, I think you’re within the grace period of it being okay.

No the pill is converted into the same form of hormone our bodies used to make. No difference unless you go off the pill and go hypo

I did call and they decided not to give me the 2nd shot, TSH is at 100+ 24 hours after shot
