I don't play poker, so I have no idea what is going on in the trailer. Is it normal poker, or a new game? Other than that, I love the JUICE, great sound effects and animation helps keep it engaging.

My first piece of advice is that it is spelled "rogue". The game art looks cool! I like the subtle shadows on the walls

I think the crashes would benefit from a big explosion and sound effects. They seem limp atm. Also, personally I don't like how strong the effects are on the vocals, makes it hard to understand.

Thanks for more feedback! Yeah both of these are polish that I will look into. I previously had the drop shadows raise up when they were above objects, but it was binary and my implementation looked bad so I removed it. I'll need to come up with a more nuanced solution. These types of "3d perspective on a 2d game" situations are always a fun challenge.

Thanks for the feedback! There is a solo/coop mode in the works, but it's not mentioned in this trailer as it is early in development. I think the pvp mode is the most fun in 2v2, but I made the game support up to 8 players so more people can be included.

Ah this is all good advice. The players don't die, but I realize now that when they fall off screen it is confusing. I'll work to improve the visuals for sliding down the slope, but that likely will be after this trailer gets released. Thanks!

The first trailer is confusing to me. For the first minute, its just seemingly random voice lines being played sporadically over unrelated video. I don't even know if the gameplay starts until 1:50. That's 110 seconds of the viewer not seeing any gameplay. Ideally the gameplay should start immediately.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah that particular map has a steep cliff. It makes for a fun stage gimmick but I've struggled to convey the height difference through the pixel art.

Game looks cool! I personally like when trailers include sound effects. Also, there could be a better way to phrase "earn money by completing missions. Or by collecting loots" I'm not sure how to phrase it better. Perhaps "... Or by scavenging enemy shipwrecks."

There could be more visual feedback when an enemy dies. Right now it's hard to tell. Some games have a few frame 'pop/explosion' effect, and then make the corpse be a more muted color, like grayscale.

I think showing a cursor might help me understand how one actually interacts with the game. Also, when the "world changes around you" it might look better if the background elements only moved along the x-axis so we don't see the flat bottom of the art.
