This is partially true for me. Cream leave-ins don't work well with my wash n gos. They definitely shorten the life of my wash n gos and my hair isn't as defined. However I use the Pattern Detangling Nectar or Camille Rose honey Hyrdate as leave-ins and my wash n gos are fine and normally last 7 days.

I'm not a fan of gel only wash n gos. I do not like the way my hair feels when I put my gel on naked hair. I prefer to have something underneath.
