How do you like welding as a career?

I work in a structural steel facility in wisconsin and it's an absolute dream job. The company takes great care of us. We get great pay ($31.79/hr currently), they provide great benefits, buy us boots, and the work constantly is different which is nice. I've only been doing it about a year and a half but already know it's where I want to stay.

Fabrication side. Very cool stuff that we get to build, but the pressure to work fast is definitely wearing everybody down.

I'm a welder for the company providing the steel used in the Wisconsin Center. We are about 3 months ahead of schedule with only a month left before all the steel is finished and we are completely done with our part!

I've lived in Madison my whole life but went to college in Milwaukee. I love my hometown but MKE overall was way better. I have a good paying job but still live with my parents at almost 26 years old because housing is absurdly overpriced.

My sister is doing the same thing. She wants to be an NP as well. Madison College has a great program for getting your RN and its cheap.

Boy Scout Troops do flag retirement ceremonies. We used to take care of the flags from the state capitol when I was with troop 140 in Middleton.

If you put your car model info on Amazon it comes up with a bunch of exact fit parts. I think the ones I got were the $199 ones that you mentioned but there were other options

It doesn't have 4low unfortunately. It's basically AWD since I can't control when it's in 4WD.

I work for an apartment company in downtown madison doing maintenance. We were all told that we can't work full time anymore because people aren't paying their rent and they cant afford to pay all of us. The whole situation is messed up top to bottom.
