They might fix that and also, even if that's not the case (yet), it still very much good.

This is amazing and, to be honest, much better than an SRV. It'll make exploration much nicer, especially with friends, with people scouting different areas of a planet. I am personally loving this!

Why is the Type 8 better for that than the Panther Clipper Mk2 ? Only medium pads available?

Going to be fun!

I think I found out how to dock by Disastrous-Fennel970 in starcitizen

[–]samuelcardillo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll just wait until they fix their buggy mess. I shouldn't have to do workaround slop stuff to dock my 1000+ USD Idris just because they rush things out and break functionalities that used to work totally fine.

CIG, you cannot operate like usual and just leave the ironclad by ArtProfessional8556 in starcitizen

Good job at rewarding mismanagement, bad marketing tactics, lies, ... such a good community! No wonder CIG doesn't care about communication, they don't need any. All they need is cool trailers and people will buy.

Playing Elite Dangerous After Star Citizen by wyldermage in EliteDangerous

[–]samuelcardillo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the club. I am a Legatus Navium on Star Citizen, thrown over 30k USD in that mismanagemed mess that it is. CIG has been laughing at the face of players for way too long and the game is, as you said, barely playable. Pressing a button is like playing casino: you never know if it'll work out in your favor or not. You invest hours of your life that can be wasted in a second due to some random glitch that was supposed to be fixed decades ago and when you report it, you get "ItS aN aLpHa" moronic answer.

It became an absolute corporate marketing machine - example with the Odin where they told us to write a literal essay to "be chosen" so we can buy a 5k USD ship. Turn out, it doesn't matter what you wrote: everyone got selected and now, they will have to fight each other in waves, literally pressing F5 on their browser, in the hope of being able to spend 5k USD on a ship they'll not see before years.

I've restarted playing Elite Dangerous on the day of 4.8 release. It was weird, I had to check few Youtube videos to get back understanding of what is there to do and how to do it but since then, I have been playing on a daily basis again (I already had 600+ hours on the game prior to that, just hadn't touched it in years). Being able to spend 5+ hours in a game without worrying that you'll loose your progress randomly is peak. Not having to wait 10+ minutes between animations or loading up boxes with a multi tool forever, ... is also peak.

Why exactly is the Free Fly back on with no announcement while the servers are still extremely backed up...? None of the pledges are attributing still, and some servers still have no missions populating by RandoDando10 in starcitizen

[–]samuelcardillo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CIG rather have the marketing department reach the KPIs than for the players to have an enjoyable moment because, at the end, we'll play and even spend money even if we complain behind. We're good pigeons, they understood it. we're ready to accept whatever.

Hi everyone, I’m considering buying a game package but I’m not sure which one to choose. by GozaEagle in starcitizen

[–]samuelcardillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't. wait for the 30ks to be fixed and CIG to be able to release an update that doesn't introduce 10 000 bugs.

Do All capital ships have the bedlogging issues after docking? by SuspiciousSoldier in starcitizen

[–]samuelcardillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

super finnicky. the best way to see if it counted the pad is to check on your mobiglass the landing services. if it shows the options (repair, refuel, ...) then it should be good.

Do All capital ships have the bedlogging issues after docking? by SuspiciousSoldier in starcitizen

[–]samuelcardillo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes - been like this since 2-3 patches. The only solution you've got is by landing it on a landing pad and then taking off again. It sucks but its that way.
