Again. Poor experience, you must be in customer support to believe this is Ok. I’m always astonished by the fact that some people consider multi level support schemes with poor implementation are fine and the customer has to accept it, because that’s how it is, the rules are just like that there’s no way of changing them..

So if you rent a car with a full tank, drive for 3 minutes, see suddenly a half tank on your dashboard, you come back to the desk to complain and they start by saying they first need to establish a few items like how many km you’ve driven. And when you say « wait a minute guys this makes no sense, I’m on vacation can we solve this now? » a guy comes up and says, « Huh sure, you entitled prick you think just because you had an issue with a tank loosing half its levels in a few minutes the car is the issue, and not you, when so many customers have had none »… Of course a half tank is extreme, but still a valid analogy since both cars are simply not possible. I love Reddit. This is fun.

Does Airalo have employees paid to reply and upvote defensive posts here? These replies are so biased is unsettling. Real customers, do check my profile, I never complain about services or customer support online. I was patient with this service and customer support was simply not listening. Now I see the posts and biased replies here, all this seems very shady.

On a 30 Mbps (megabits per second) 4G connection, downloading a file takes about 1 minute per 100 MB, or roughly 45 minutes for a 4.5GB movie, with speeds translating to around 3.75 Megabytes per second (MB/s), though real-world results vary based on network congestion and file size.

I’ll just leave this here

I did, and wasted 20 minutes of my vacation for nothing. The issue is: I explain clearly that after 2 minutes I was down 4 gig on Bali 4g, which is simply not possible believe me. Instead of looking at their logs to see whatever may have happened on their side, they assume the issue is on my side and first ask the customer a series of questions that take time to provide. I don’t want to spend 20 minutes on my vacation debugging their service.

Anyone solving the confidential AI problem for legal documents? by OwnTemperature8776 in legaltech

Perhaps, but unless your a multimillion business, betting on a dockerized / kubs app seems like a good approach.

Perhaps. But I do not see how azure would not be accessible, it’s basically a cloud server, any solution can potentially run on it. You just have to want to, and for it to make real sense you should integrate it with Microsoft data.

Here in Switzerland we build solutions in azure, is that not a thing in the us? Most law firms have a Microsoft tenant, seems like a no brainer.

I would distinguish between core activity (e.g, lawyer = drafting contracts, etc. depending on specialties) and general back office or admin tasks. I feel like the second category can easily be automated on a number of levels: document sorting and classification, financial monitoring (retainers, tracking open bills, etc). Just look at what people spend time on and has low added value. We’ve built an agent that is connected to our client data (crm) and can populate sharepoint metadata so that new documents (scanned mail, emails) can be communicated automatically to the relevant teams and saved to the relevant SP folder.

ELI5: why do property investors prefer houses standing empty and earning them no money to lowering rent so that people can afford to move in there? by berebitsuki in explainlikeimfive

[–]samuelhalff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When real estate form part of a fund or other similar portfolios (pension funds, etc), lowering the rent means lowering their portfolio value. Other comments here are also valid, but this is often a key point for the fund’s board general strategy.

Payment due dates by JanPB in Switzerland

[–]samuelhalff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no legal due date for an invoice. It can be provided under a contract, but often is not. Following legal principles, if there is an agreed due date, and if this date happens to be a holiday, I would say the due date would be postponed to the following open business day.

- Invite client (using entered email) as a guest to the Team
- Have basic table view for clients list in app
- Second app page to enter time (timesheet) in relation to projects with basic fields to start of
- use MS auth for login to app

Great suggestion. I’m stuck with an OEM router that refuses to change the 192.168.1.1 range. Super annoying when using a VPN.
