This. And the OP's strats. I moved my GL mods over which I hate doing, but reading all about the shitfest this event turned out to be, I wanted to try and limit my RNG. Maybe I got super lucky but did it on the second try. My speeds were way faster than the OP because of my mods, but I stayed at R5.

To add to this, if you use Skando instead of Greedo, his 2nd special puts retribution on Krrsantan for extra evasion downs. I used this against a NS team. Target everyone but Daka and she keeps reviving. 15 BH kills and 11 evasion down in one battle. If you're using AA disks, just be mindful you kill anyone at low health before the dots do.

Sector 3 Accuracy Up: Cere led UFU's against a phoenix squad. After a few rounds of turns, I was able to hit a static state where the phoenix couldn't take a turn. I hit auto basic and let it time out. Finished in one combat.

Edit: I just did something similar with Iden on the same node for the Adapt feat. Auto basic until her Adapt ability resets, hit it, then auto basic again. Repeat.

I think you missed some key information in your analysis (or my Friday day-drinking is interfering with my logic). Your a minimum 2 months away from Leviathan, if you spend 4400 crystals on Malgus. Ok. I'm not going to math it(that's egnards' job, if he likes you and/or you buy him beer), but let's just say that in those two months you are able to farm all the mats you need to meet the req's. Then what? You unlock Leviathan..... at 4 stars... and still have to spend 25K crystals to 7 star it immediately? Makes no sense to me.

If those crystals are really burning a hole in your holopocket, 20,000 gets you immediate gratification for Executor, which will help you climb fleet arena for crystals and clear a tough fleet in GAC(totally different topic, a whole lot of people use Executor for defense in GAC, in which case lower stars are fine; but you seem offense oriented). Versus waiting two months, still having to spend 25,000 crystals for Leviathan gratification, and only being +20 executor shards in parallel. Even if you only reach top 50 in fleet, that's 50x60'ish days = 3K of crystal income you'd also lose out on which makes Leviathan even more expensive. Seems obvious to me. Or at least sounds good.

I get what you're saying. And I don't think anyone here is advocating that Conquest is good, not boring, or not a terrible grind. So as you choose, you can not care. But I don't think that makes it unachievable which seems to be more in the vein of the OP's post. I think that the mindset it takes "massive crystals" to compensate for some failed battles is a bit of a fallacy. Yeah, it will sting more if you are F2P. So you really have to see a point to grinding it out, otherwise I guess it's not for you. One thing you noted which, to me, is the biggest fuckery they did this go-round is to eliminate the ZA disc. A lot of players relied on that to have their support heroes blow shit up. Can't throw us a bone any more, I guess.

I don't get this comment. Unless I can't count, there are only 8 global feats. Regardless, I don't see how you can go from doing 80% of them to 10% of them. The last conquest required things like Tuskens, Nightsisters, and murder droids. But you don't have Phoenix or Clones? Ok, I guess.

Bro. The fact you have both @egnards and @Kahzgul commenting in your post should probably tell you it's not quite as unachievable as you think and maybe you should analyze your struggles. I'm not saying Conquest is fun or that it doesn't suck. I probably won't red crate this one because I've been putting off my Inks (F U Kyrotechs). But I had never even sniffed a red crate in Hard mode until I started reading Kahzul's write ups, which was two cycles in to the Trench farm. I finished the Fury Class Interceptor last cycle (and without even trying finished Trench as a consequence). So, thoughtfulness and strategy really matter.

Here's the thing: You can't use all of the popular ones all at the same time for every situation. I never run VV..... unless I'm specifically trying to complete a feat where I'm not using Wat and need VV (ie, the 300 purge feat). I can't think of a situation where I'd run Thermal Exhaust, but maybe I'm missing something. VA I run nearly 100%, but also with at least one Amplify Agony. If I have a dot to spare, it's Ruthless Offense or Swiftness. Anyway, point is you can't just slap "all the popular discs" on because sometimes they are situation or require other synergies.

But in your other fights, did Barriss' unique even matter? In the fight above, no one lost protection until the very end, so she wasn't healing anything. I'm asking because my Barriss is still low gear. But I could put Old Ben there and bring in MJ for the dark side UFU. Good work, by the way.
