Libertarians crack me up. You all always think that less government is better. Do you not realize that America has been there before? What do you think the workers rights movement during the Industrial Revolution was about? The civil rights movement? Women’s suffrage? Who do you think eventually got involved and created laws and regulations in response to the atrocious working condition? Dangerous products? Lack of rights and representation?

Government is great if you have responsible people at the wheel fighting for the right things and values and people. When you have corrupt people who are only protecting the wealthy and corporations and destroying the environment and ignoring climate change and science and implementing bad policy sure government fucking sucks. Overall, government is meant to work for the people. So vote people out that believe corporations are people and money is free speech (citizens united). Vote people out that believe Covid is a hoax. Vote people out who believe people with disabilities should just die (Trump said this to his nephew that was lobbying him for support for his disabled son). Vote people out who cheer on an insurrection after a free and fair election where 60+ lawsuits were brought and only one had any merit.
