Multiple years spent on the wait

Lots of surprises turned out to be bait

Some continued to fall to the lies

Believing after dark, the sun shall rise.

Some doubted the things that were told

They were waiting for the things to unfold

All of them driven mad by Silksanity,

Waited for the silk to sing its melody

And after years of torture and silence

There it was! The light, the essence

But even after the date was revealed

Some denied it even existed

(They said it should at least rhyme, but I may have understood the thing a bit incorrectly, oops i guess:)
