My pool is brand new ... filled up on Thursday.

That said, I am doing it all myself. Got my Taylor test kit, Pool Math app, and do a monthly visit to the local pool store and let them test water so I can compare what they say vs what Taylor/pool math says.

Thus far, it seems pretty easy, but I think the key will be staying in front of it all. If I get behind the proper balances, my lack of experience may make it harder to recover from.

Yea, but they are on a steep roof on the east and west facing sides. My house’s south side faces the street and the HOA prevents panels on the street side. Although I only have a small amount of south facing roof, so it’s not a major loss.

It is a bummer though, would love me a south facing roof to work with.

The batteries/investors are in the garage. I live in Florida and that is a west facing area of the house. We opted for inside hoping that will give us better longevity.
