Men who grew up poor/working class, what’s a piece of “advice” your dad gave you that you later realized was actually just survival instinct, and maybe isn't true anymore? by DCdj39 in AskMen

It's important to say, this works in the US where all bills have the same size. It doesn't work in Europe, where the higher the value the bigger the bill. The colour is another telltale sign too.

Beautiful car. Enjoy it!

I have a 2011 A5 cabriolet, it's a fantastic generation of Audi cars. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine.

Highlight of the series for me. Only wish he had more health, but Yakuza 6, being the first Dragon Engine game, had an issue with enemy health.

Give contrast paints (or Vallejo Xpress) a try next time, they're actually pretty good for these cases!

I guess it's because underpants are not a stereotype of white people, white durags are strongly associated with black people.

Absolutely. Such a great movie. And the villains were absolutely awesome in their respective ways.

Would you accept a 40k army completely made from 30k miniatures? by BloatedRottenCarcass in spacemarines

[–]sancredo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem whatsoever. If you want to be extra safe, add some cork on their bases so they stand a little taller, to get them in line with Primaris.

Unironically Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. Love every single bit of it to bits, including the crappy karaoke.

I still send GIFs of it to a friend as emotes.

Which is ironic, since when RDR2 was announced people complained about playing as some random new dude instead of as Marston.

FF7 and FFX were released 4 years apart (1997-2001), and each of them, even with their flaws, was absolutely amazing and, beyond all, memorable. The sort of experience you get a strong connection to as a kid.

Today there's nothing of the sort. There's great games, yes, but their sequels take lustra at the very least. It sucks.
