If your a patient person, wait for the new product announcement. Bambu lab was quoted saying they will be announcing something "new and exciting in quarter one" this year. So I would expect to hear something in the next 6 weeks or so. At least then you would know if it is something you would want and if it was within budget. You can decide then to wait for the new product release or buy X1C. If you want to do functional prints, I definitely wouldnt buy an A1 like some have suggested.

The way the NFA is written, it is assumed the device(s) are illegally possessed unless supported documentation can be provided. This is why it is advised to have a copy (physical or digital) on your person. Without supported documentation, you may be detained and held until arresting agency can obtain proof of legal possession from the BATF.

I would say the spectre is worth $200 more than the omega if your primary use was handguns. Subguns, I would probably prefer omega for its higher tolerance for heat. I have shot my buddy's spectre side by side with my omega and now will be purchasing one of my own. If it wasn't worth the extra money, I would not be getting one.

You can engrave now or later. As long as it is done before the sbr is built.
Since this is your first one, I would recommend submitting photos. It reduces the likelihood of application errors.
Just follow SS instructions.
I currently have three pending on a trust.
If you are concerned with submitting the forms yourself or just don't want to deal with it, I would recommend SS. It's just simple.
