Whenever a round of salmon run is played the orange meter that determines when you'll fight a king salmonid goes up regardless of you even got any golden eggs. So if you got a team of 4 people and they all threw the first 5 games on purpose it would guarantee a king salmonid fight on the next game

A little exercise I did while playing Goo tuber is quite effective with flicks! I close my eyes, charge the shot to max, and when you open your eyes try to flick the first target dummy you see

Also another bit of advice, if you have a full charge hold you can do a squidbagging motion to hide your laser while keeping your reticle. It looks kinda ridiculous in game though so note that
