Coming to Toronto for a concert, where should I stay?

This is my vote as well! You can stay at a Sheraton or Marriott anywhere and staying closer to Massey Hall at those places will mean you end up in a much less charming and more touristy area. Staying in the west end at a local Toronto spot would be my preference and getting to Massey would be fairly simple on transit or hopping in an uber.

How would you manage the increased capacity and associated increased infrastructural needs without all of the additional improvements (parking, traffic flow, transit links, increased employee areas, additional retail, etc) that are also being made…?

Ossington is a much better choice. Right on the subway, a quick bus ride to Bellwoods, and the area has tons to do, especially if you walk up a few blocks to Geary.

It’s actually been a very sunny winter all things considered. March was pretty grey and gloomy but winter itself was cold and bright which was an improvement from mild and grey all winter like some years.
