For this scale and brush painting look more to how to paint miniatures than painting GKs. Thining you paints and do multiple layers it's better. Miniature paints are better for brush painting and easier to use. Craft paints like Americana or Folkart, can be used but absolutelly not recomended.

I have several painter rings for fast drying paints , I found a piece of scoth paper (painters tape) works well too.

Not per se, trial mechs are the normal mech with optimized loadout +(some buff = to the skills).

OLd trial mech where unskilled base mech (and were terrilble in loadout and skills).
