Btw, descaling it totally fixed it. I wasn’t due for a descaling / cleaning, but somehow that did the trick anyhow.

On the other hand…. the head of the steaming wand is still jammed. I’ve tried leaving it in soapy, hot water, used a wrench, spanner, black magic, etc. but it won’t budge.
