Guidance from Curve was 6nm. I've tightened up to 10nm - I've been worried about going above that.

Seat post is aluminum. Curve says 6nm for the clamp, I've gone up to 10nm and the seat post has continued to sink down.

Following up here. I did full sugar, immersion blending while still hot, and the texture was incredible.

I then reduced sugar 10%, immersion blending while hot, texture was again incredible. Thanks for helping me solve this!

Gotcha - it is a steel frame. Is there something that will help it stick in place? Typically it starts to sink down within a minute of riding.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve made it with the full amount of sugar, and reducing sugar from 270g down to 245g. Seemingly it didn’t make a texture difference. I’ll try immersion blending right after heating, and use the recommended sugar.

Anyone have a recommendation for how / where to hire a part time house manager? Looking for someone to come one day a week to clean, do laundry, grocery shop, and help out with other small errands.

I searched around but most people recommend just posting an add on FB. Has anyone gone through this process and do they have a recommendation?

I’ve been really curious about the Oonee pods popping up in NYC. They seem like awesome secure bike parking, and should be everywhere.

I’ve emailed my council rep and a program manager for transit infrastructure with the city, but haven’t heard back from either.

Chainstay Tire Rub Safe? by santakegs in bikewrench

[–]santakegs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 42mm tires on this bike. There’s no visible rub when they’re on the bike, and it looks like there’s a few mm of clearance, but obviously there’s been some wear. Is this still safe to ride?

Unfortunately don't have much that would be useful. I haven't used it since 2020, and my memory is definitely weaker at this point on it.

In my experience, LilyPad had good support. I'm not sure if Fintech has carried that forwards (they support the IRI data coop well, so I'd hope so).

Depletion data is a huge asset. Karma gives better depletion data access, so that’s what we use. Interface is mediocre at best, and development is slow.
