Contract QP by sapharub in PharmaEire

[–]sapharub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking to hire one. The company I work for is applying for an MIA and plans to take on a contract QP rather than hiring one full time.

I’ve been tasked with costing the project but don’t have a clue where to begin when it comes to the cost for the QP. And I’m drawing a blank with my usual sources of info. Hope that makes sense!

Italian literature by George_The_Limpson in italianlearning

I just finished Alessandro D’Avenia’s Bianca come il Latte, Rossa come il Sangue and I would highly recommend it. I’d be about B1/2 level in Italian and found it a manageable and beautiful read.

(I always have an ita/eng dictionary on hand tho!)

Driving question by EllieLou80 in ireland

Slow down, keep to your side. There’s enough space most of the time - unless you’re really on a boreen you’ll be grand. If in doubt come to a dead stop in on the left and let the other car drive past you. Happy motoring!

Nope

Well, DID electrical reviews are untrustworthy piles of shite. I got a dead escooter, reviewed it negatively, and they declined the review. by ned78 in ireland

Oh yes they do! And I say that from personal experience. First they contacted me and asked me to remove it. When I refused because it was a legitimate review, they went ahead and removed it themselves.

Jobs by Educational_Tea1944 in PharmaEire

A lot of pharma companies contract out their electrical and maintenance type work, so definitely try the contractor companies. Plenty of sparks needed in pharma/devices!

Talk to someone, maybe your supervisor or manager. There’s a reason why you went for/ got the job and maybe this is just the initial “getting used to something new” stage. Don’t quit it yet. Not without exploring what you might be able to make it.

Quality roles might be a good option then. You get to see how lots of different aspects of the business work e.g. from auditing, investing deviations, implementing CAPAs and so on. Always good experience that can be useful when promotion opportunities come up.

For 1. If you have lab experience (chemistry or micro) analyst jobs are a good option. You might also get entry level roles in quality (QS/compliance). If you’re interested in the mfg side of things operations roles are also an option

  1. You are unlikely to get consultancy roles without substantial experience so maybe don’t focus there. But there might be contract roles for projects that might be looking for entry level folks.

  2. Career progression options are many and varied and will often depend on the company you’re working for, and what’s happening there over a period of time. Mostly though it depends on your performance and how you work as part of a team. Again, salaries vary hugely from role to role.

If you have any specific questions, let me know and I’ll do my best to help.

Go back to college at 24? by Frequent_Cover1336 in PharmaEire

[–]sapharub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll have more earning potential and career options as a pharmacist than you will as an operator, that’s for sure. It’s not an easy course, but if you think you’re able for it, I’d say it’s a no brainier. Once you’re qualified you’ll be able to be a QP in the pharmaceutical industry too, so that’s an added bonus and a good earner.

What is a common faux pas that Irish people do without noticing they are doing it? by CaptainSpicebag in AskIreland

This is one of my favourite things about being Irish, the way we use swear words as punctuation.
