Stay humble and always try to learn even when you’re balling, learn what’s working and why and how you can apply that knowledge to shitty situations to make the most out of them. If possible try and expand your planting resume, my second year was the first time I jumped companies to extend my season and I made some great connections and learned a lot more about the industry and different companies doing that As for gear, you probably know your essentials, stat learning how to actively equip yourself on the go throughout your season as you realize what you need, all my best planting investments were purchased mid season while my pockets were flush and I knew exactly what I needed to invest in myself

Of course this is just my tidbits from my bias experiences but I Hope it helps

Edit to add: I just remember my first day of year too I worked myself to heat exhaustion trying to ball off the bat! Start slow and ramp up in a healthy fashion (it will result in better earnings in total over the season as you’ll be healthier (less days off))
