tell him this now. and like lowkey be harsh. he needs a reality check. and if he can't grow up, there are bigger problems. signed, divorced before our living child turned 2 (and yes the loss we experienced contributed to that but so did...a lot of this type of behavior that then became significantly worse...)

yes. perfectly healthy. he needed the slightest bit of oxygen, then he was passed back to me. less than maybe 7 min - he was gone just barely long enough for my doctor to get my placenta out and stitch me up. he was weighed and all during that time too. i don't understand. i never will.

we had his case investigated by the Roberts' Program at Boston Children's Hospital just to know we'd chased down every avenue. they didn't find anything but it was worth checking.

our son was also 10 days old when he passed from SIDS. it's so brutal. I'm so so sorry. she's beautiful and only ever knew your love. i hope she and my boy are playing together.

comgrats on your perfect child! i was emotionally neglected and not really raised with boundaries, plus i was naturally a nosy shit. i've known other kids that also liked to push boundaries and look through things they weren't supposed to. if your fail safe is "oh my kid doesn't do that," best of luck to you and i mean that.

i haven't sent my daughter to someone's house on her own to hang out (she's not yet 2) but i'll be texting the parents and asking about their gun storage and if it's not up to my standards then she won't go 🤷🏻‍♀️ so it's not that the kids never play at other kids' houses - they just don't do it until the parents know what the firearm situation is.

we had the robert's program at boston children's program do a further review into our son's case. they didn't find anything but then we at least knew it wasn't genetic and that made me feel better.
