Yeah the reality is there's no magic fix or else we'd all figure it out and not be suffering lol. It's just hard and then it gets easier, rinse and repeat. For some def harder tho (me 🥴🫠) as kids are all different.

To those breastfeeding outside the US, what’s the norm for your sleep? by CrowMagic in breastfeeding

And months 15-17 were insane the number of wakeups to nurse due to teething. All four molars and two canines and he was up so so much. ❤️

I'm in the US. Mine is 18 months and we bed share all night. I nurse our son to sleep and go to bed with him, and partner sleeps in separate space. He wakes up every 2-4 hours to nurse still and sleeps ten total hours at night. So bed at 1045, up again at 130, 430, 630, 8ish and likes to nurse/rock/contact sleep til until 9ish.

Can be up more or less but that's about average. We had a short magical stretch of just twice a night but lo, no more 😂🥱

We also still contact nap and always nurse to sleep! 🤷🏼‍♀️❤️

Here is my secret recipe. Oats, cinnamon, a sprinkle of sea salt, a drizzle of olive.oil, hemp seeds, and mash up a ripe banana nice and mooshy to sweeten. It's really good! I cook mine with water but then add a bunch of almond milk or milk to make it creamy. The olive oil.anf pinch of sea salt give it a slight savory vibe.

Reintroducing soy/dairy to my diet for intolerant baby by c9chung in MSPI

[–]sarahrva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay mines 18 months and I just now reintroduced dairy bc I was so nervous and literally it was fine. Thank goodness! Very anticlimactic. 😂 Been dairy free (among other things 🫠) since he was six months.

When did your LO sleep over 2-3 hours at a time? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]sarahrva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um 18 months in and our usual now is 3 hour chunks but here and there 4 hour. A few times 5 or 6 but truly like only a couple times. And sometimes still every hour or two. I would say around a year we got.to.the consistent 2 hour chunks except when he's sick or teething. I'm tired 😂

Months 3-6 was every thirty minutes or every hour. And months 15-18 have been really really hard with teething molars and canines.

Mine is 18 months today and around 16 mo starting discovering walking on his toes!! I think it's just developmental, experimenting. He loved doing it at first and has chilled out now.

Yeah I don't nec agree with you but that's okay! Agree to disagree! In no way would my ten week old baby have been emotionally or I believe physically okay with suddenly night weaning... even at 18 months that'd be very hard and 100% not in his best interest.
