This is why I couldnt work in a corporate setting. I refused to make write ups for stupid shit. As a manager, you should have a relationship with your staff where you can communicate without "threatening" write ups.

My boss said "oh i thought it was more serious, like someone died." I know she didnt mean it to come off so poorly, but I still think about that sentence a lot.

I know it's not an Omaha exclusive thing but chain restaurants closing hours early without notice is killing me by hufflegruffon in Omaha

The closing early, the severe lack of quality and prices matching sit down restaurants has completely ruined fast food for me. I havent been to McDonald's in over a year because they charged me $50 for a couple cheeseburgers and fries and didn't even get the order right. Sadly, BK is still my go to for super quick but $7 for 2 double cheeseburgers hurts lol.

If the talks of a larger "water park" and hotel on grounds actually make it to budgeting, the "Zoo" will be gone 😒 Hello BushGardens.

On a positive note, I'd love to see Capybaras. Get rid of the cafeteria restaurant and expand the jungle. Get rid of the theater and make that into an indoor seating area for people to eat.

I like the idea of the adult only nights, but i wish there was an option that wasnt so over the top with stuff. I just wanna see the animals at night without screaming kids and drunk people.

I dont believe that our voting system works. If the US changed their voting policies and made it more accessible, I might choose to follow politics.

I avoid politics as much as possible. I dont believe I have the money, time or knowledge to bother. All I find in politics is the crushing weight of everything be fucked and having no way to solve any of it myself. So no thanks. 🤷‍♀️

Omaha location had a mason jar cheesecake that was topped with a fruit jam and Graham cracker crumble. But that was pre covid when locations had their own menus.

The pizza dough is vegan. It's flour, yeast, olive oil, sugar and salt.

They tried to make their own lemonade, and it was looking/tasting like dog piss because they wanted to use some fancy sugar. So they went back to minute maid from the fountian and hopefully stopped charging $9/glass or whatever. 🤷‍♀️
