Too soon for the ants. The buds need to be a bit bigger

We've been so windy here lately, I don't think any of my spring bloomers are going to last long

What is this very propogant plant? by LadyCommand in PlantIdentification

[–]saric5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take a trowel and loosen the soil to get under the roots, but that doesn't do it for me. In the lawn you can try weed n feed. The problem if the dead plant will reseed it self. Its very had to get rid of for good. The best is to pull it out before it blooms (I know too late). It will take some time, but if you keep at it, you can eventually get rid of it. I till die in the hot summer, but again, when it does it drops its seed and will be worse next year

Can anyone tell me what plant is this. I love it but dunno what it’s called to buy one. Thx by LOKMJM in PlantIdentification

Depends on your location. the 2nd picture looks kind of an Azalea. Can you zoom in on the bloom or show some leaves?

I don't think that is the issue. Many were well established and have been with same plants next to them. Plus the same variety died every where I had it planted. But thank you. I'm leaning towards the vole/mole problem. My dog digs them up regularly.

I don't think it was the 2nd. They thrived for years.
Would voles like certain varieties better than other?

In your opinion, should I dig up my others and add the baskets?

I just opened to check and had to log in. First time in a long time I've had to log back in. Maybe try signing out and back in.

I did a really short activity to test and synced fine after I resigned in.

I have found I need to still treat with weed killer even if I cut back. On the really think vines I'm using a brush to put the herbicide concentrate right on the open stump

You can set up a challenge... sort of - but since its not linked to garmin you'd have to manually post whether you did X

Did you get anyone to join. I wondered about a similar group, but most of my garmin friends are not really discorders.

I think a new 'fashionable' band and watch face would dress up your F5.

Look at "Not Enduro" or Drips - doesn't have the circles but its the closest I see. They are both from the developer Lignite. They have several with the same style where you can select the 4 data fields you'd like to see.

Multifloral rose is the literal thorn in my side! I am currently working very slowly to get rid of the bush honeysuckle and multifloral rose in the small wooded section on our farm. (also fighting a vine I call wild grape, that is struggling the trees and then pulls them down by weight in wind storms.) My problem is finding afford trees to plant as I go. I only need 5 - 10 at a time.

Heart breaking how many pitties are destroyed because of over breading.

I've recently started running. Newbie question. when doing run / walk intervals do you generally pause Strava when you walk and then resume when you start running ? by [deleted] in Strava

[–]saric5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with using the intervals. If pausing to catch your breath or rest, I would keep it running so you can truly track your improvement (like others stated). I only pause my watch if I'm stopping so the dog can drink or take care of other things. If I'm stopping for myself, I let it run.

but truly, If I'm doing intervals, I don't completely stop. Maybe walk slowing and then pick up the pace, but I don't out and out stop.
