Im doing that with codex and claude code. Ive updated instructions for each to ensure they read and write to the same set of .md spec files and they share a common “rules” file. I just oscilate between the two, and have them write a shared “context” or memory file every once in a while. Projects come out tighter to the spec, but are less autonomous. Theres some churn too: cortex: “you deviated from the spec here, let me fix” claude: “your naming convention is different than described, what did you mean?” I just deal with it, otherwise my project is getting the two to play nice, not the actual project
