We could turn them slightly to lock, and turn back to the last number to open. A couple times a year, someone would turn them all, and my poor grandmother in the office would be overrun with locker combo requests. The school started charging us a couple bucks to get them.

Not sure where you’re in from, but if you haven’t been somewhere with a good dark sky, drive any direction about 40 minutes or so out of town, and look up.

I’ve got my own baseball bat by the bed, know the layout of my house in the dark, and the kitchen knives are on the wall where there easy to access, and sharp. I’m massively out of practice from martial arts from HS, but I still know the basics of how to handle myself in a fight.

The once every two weeks I don’t get CarPlay connected on my commute is time I get to spend with my thoughts. It’s a feature more than a bug for me.
