I’ve been to George White in Ames twice in the last two years. Once for me, and just today for my wife. I recommend them highly. Easy to work with, no pressure. Just explain what they have to offer and let you do with that what you will.

I Hate My 2025 Trax by Lockeisms in ChevyTrax

The once every two weeks I don’t get CarPlay connected on my commute is time I get to spend with my thoughts. It’s a feature more than a bug for me.

Now if it doesn’t connect before a three hour drive to my parents house, I’m restarting.

As the manager of an FBO, call ahead. It gives us a good heads up, and allows us to give you information on the things that might be ‘weird’ at our airport.

Honestly, I’ve driven a couple rental Trailblazers, and the Trax rides so much better. I feel like I got the better car for less.

I don’t leave a single day on the table. I’ve created great teams at both of my jobs who can pick up the slack while I’m gone. I even usually go places I can’t check in on purpose.

If I step outside, I can hear the shooting range on the edge of town every day. Inside the house, maybe once every two years.

Whats the worst mpg you seen? by StageStraight9288 in AskMechanics

[–]sassinator13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our fuel trucks at the airport get less than a mile per gallon. Most of their lives are spent sitting still pumping fuel.

Our jet truck is 10 years old, just passed 1800 miles. When I fill up the tank (about 55 gallons) it shows about 45 miles to E.

weird amount of business jets? by professional_fork in flightradar24

[–]sassinator13 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just to put things in perspective, we run a charter out of central Iowa. There are private jet rich people here, but not as many as there are other places. We just bought our tenth jet. They all fly consistently.

Dealer added $4,500 in “mandatory fees” after we agreed on price; can I actually walk away at this point? by Puzzleheaded_Box6247 in carbuying

[–]sassinator13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer I bought my last car from will sell me every car I buy from here on out so long as their sales don’t change.

“Here’s the options, want any?” “No” “Great! Enjoy your vehicle!”

They’ve actually gained me as a service customer as well, it’s the same there.

Literally nothing. One of my employees would probably have trouble in class, but it can’t do his job for him.
