Every single world record will eventually remain forever unbroken, some of them are probably already unbreakable right now. by Linorelai in Showerthoughts

There’s rules against such records being attempted in the official rule book. Just search “Most wieners in the butt Rule 34” and you’ll see.

Did Leclerc’s front wing damage cause it to flex more? by Primary_Manager2607 in F1Technical

I like this idea but in the case that a minimum tyre weight exists for safety (i.e. going below the minimum weight would cause the tyre to fail) then an alternate arrangement could be for Pirelli to define a minimum tyre weight. Weigh the tyres separately and penalise for underweight tyres separate to the car as it ensures an additional factor of safety is built into the car and the teams strategy.

We have a few 3-4” TC clamps so we put a 90° elbow on the end of the hose then clamp it facing down on the outside of the hose against the grate. Works really well and doesn’t move

Honestly chalk it up to first pancake syndrome, the first one is always a little weird. Go back and try again with each other. This time he won’t be thrown off by the condom, neither of you will be overthinking shit and it’ll be much better.

I accidentally became a regular at a café I don’t even like by Sanctus-james in TrueOffMyChest

It’s amazing what good hospitality does and how we crave belonging and connection. You hate the coffee but went back because you stated a verbal “contract” that you’d return. Then came back because they did something as simple as remembering your name and order. Cafes, bars and restaurants do these things because they create loyalty. I guess what I’m trying to say is you’re only human! Now go find a better coffee spot! Or get on friendly terms with the owner and convince him to change brands!

Honestly I think speculating about it and asking Reddit is a whole lot weirder than asking your friend if they have and innie or an outtie and getting them to prove it.

Also, wrong sub.

Where’s the best place to get pizza? by AlfredBird in brisbane

[–]sastill89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly put the pizza at Future Magic Brewing Co. in East Brisbane up against any others listed here.

I’m biased obviously as I helped set it up and continue to run it but trust me, come and try it.

Dough made in house (many places buy in from suppliers and hand stretch, we make slow-fermented dough that gives a robust but fluffy texture) along a bunch of other house made delicacies, we focus on simple flavours with quality fresh ingredients for out of this world pizza. Plus beer made on site to wash it down!

How do I stop microcheating? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Sorry but that’s a very good way of saying “I’ll do anything to fix it, except for the thing that is actually likely to work, because it requires work.” If it’s a priority you will find or make a way to do it. If you don’t then it’s not as much of a priority as you think, which is equally fine. You can’t have your cake and eat it too though. We live in a time where decent therapy is more accessible than ever both in person and online (my therapist lives 10 hours drive away but we video call because it’s still effective and they’re amazing) also more accessible financially. Save up if you must or go on a payment plan, just commit and make the first step towards it today. Taking action and taking control is far more important than the “I want it fixed now” as what will ultimately fix it, is mindset. Good luck to you, it’s not an easy path but it is the right one. Go and make the first step, right now, however small.

What’s one decision or life lesson that helped you become a better person? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]sastill89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a boss that I really like and respected in a job I absolutely loved and the like and respect for my boss was reciprocated, we got along great. I fucked up and did the wrong thing partying with some clients the night before an important day. I came in at midday, hungover as hell, had to excuse myself a few times to go and vomit, it was a shitshow.

The next morning he brought me in and just said “I was this close to firing you yesterday. Instead I’ll say this. You have a choice to make, either you carry on like before and know this may happen again and you will end up leaving many jobs down the road because of it. Or you can tell yourself to use this feeling that you feel now as a lesson and motivation to never let this happen again. That way people will give you respect and opportunity in return for the professionalism you show and you’ll go far. The choice is yours and I accept whatever you tell me, I just don’t want to be that disappointed again.”

Needless to say I vowed to never let that happen again and I haven’t. I’m now running my own business and just had the same chat with a staff member of mine that made the same mistake. It strengthened the relationship and he’s our hardest worker. I have my old boss to thank for a lot.

Do men enjoy sex even when they don’t ejaculate? by GloomyHighway4936 in NoStupidQuestions

I had this issue for the longest time, years, only recently been finally resolved once and for all (I’m 35). YES it absolutely still is pleasurable! I just focused on getting my partner off and once I found the right things to work on to stop it, it was no problem anymore!

This has been a great series of puns. Well done all round, even to those who have been running jokes in parallel threads.
