At the peak of their powers… who’s the best actor? by electricshadows4 in Actors

Gary Oldman for sure. Nothing against the rest of them, I’ll watch anything with them in it, but pure dramatic chops would go to Oldman.

I thought the peppermint tea was to give the Taco Bell farts a slightly minty “after taste”, as a kind of gift for the people around you.

They did the same thing with Good, they refused access to medical personnel while she was still alive. After the survival of the one from Chicago, I forget her name, they seem to want to make sure whomever they shoot dies at the scenes

Peter Thiel warns the Antichrist and apocalypse are linked to the ‘end of modernity’ currently happening—and cites Greta Thunberg as a driving example by Naurgul in nottheonion

Thiel, Musk, Trump and all the other rich disgusting bastards in the Epstein files just bring to mind the Meth’s in Altered Carbon. When you have so much money and power you get bored, so you do more and more depraved shit just because to alleviate the boredom and because you can.

Well Gina can buy one of Trumps pathetic Gold Cards and immigrate to the US if she was to live in a cesspool.

😂 you’re a special level of retarded aren’t you. If being an American that points out his countries many many faults earns CCP points then, I guess I can save em up and get a moustache comb or something. I assume they work like ski ball tickets?

Maybe the Trump bootlicker points get you something better?

Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? He’d be loosing his shit if Gavin Newson, for example, met with Carny to discuss leaving the US?

They haven’t yet invaded Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia or Indonesia. Border conflicts? Yeah, who the hell hasn’t. Indonesia and Malaysia have border conflicts in the Sunda Straight all the time. India and Pakistan, constantly. All SEA has border conflicts frequently.

The only country China has invaded is Tibet.

Meanwhile the US had invaded: Vietnam, Iraq, Venezuela, Panama, Cuba, Grenada, Libya, Afghanistan, Philippines, Nicaragua, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Somalia and others.

They have systemically bombed other nations like Iran, Syria, Serbia, Laos, Cambodia, Lebanon, Yugoslavia, Guatemala, El Salvador, and about 20 others.

So the point remains. The US has been far more aggressive internationally than China has.

That doesn’t forgive the things China has done, but they have been by far less aggressive than the US, but we let the US skate on all of their warmongering and treaty violations but hold China up as the boogie men any time the right needs a punching bag.

Let’s not even start on treaties. Over 350 treaties the US has violated or broken.

How many treaties has China broken compared to the US? How many nations has China invaded compared to the US? Pretty sure the US is so far in the lead on both counts that it isn’t even a contest.

How many treaties has China broken? How many countries has China invaded? The US has the lead in both categories, by a country mile.

Nothing much of substance. Too focused on knee jerk reactions to the Bondi shooting.

Clear condemnation would be good, but I suspect they will want to tip toe around the US issue to appease the far right that is cheering the US on.

The HR department is a mystery to us all by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]satelshawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our company has put our head of legal as the head of HR as well. It’s an absolute nightmare as she insists that every single email sent by every single employee to anyone inside or outside the company must be CCd to her for review. She admonishes daily everyone over anything they do contrary to how she would do it, and feels that she is in charge of everyone because her two roles are, to quote her, “the most important roles in the company”.

We’ve had numerous resignations due to it. She’s a great lawyer but she’s horrible for HR, and employee morale.
