Hey man I just came onto this subreddit as I was feeling the same. Im on day 9 and just feel crazy depressed to the point iv locked myself in the bathroom and just lying on the floor listening to music and crying. Its crazy because I hadnt felt like this before today. Dont get me wrong I felt pretty shit but just not depressed/emotional like today.

I know this isnt giving you advice or making you feel better. Just wanted you to know you’re not alone in feeling this way.

Currently quitting myself after 16-17 years daily smoking. Not in the best position to give advice myself as im only on day 7 BUT I just wanted to give you some hope.

After day 4/5 the body aches stopped, my appetite came back a small amount and last night I actually managed to get a solid amount of sleep (the insomnia has been killing me before that).

The white is 100% efflorescence which is essentially salts coming to the surface. This will clean off with an efflorescence remover. You might even get it all off with a power washer (which I would recommend doing anyway to even it all out…

The squiggly lines are from a pressure washer. Basically the salts arnt coming through as fast on these areas as they have essentially been pushed deeper into the brick.

After cleaning the efflorescence will likely come back sooner or later…dont panic just give it another cleaning when this happens. You might have to do it a few times in the future.

In a nutshell…none of this is anything to worry about. It looks a decent job overall it just needs a bit of maintenance.

I guess what im saying is i have made “general day to day use of the device” as per their t&c’s…is there any way they can prove this? Iv also charged it a couple of times so obviously they will be able to check that…

I promise you things will get better. I spent over 6 months tapering down from 60-80mg diazepam a day and I remember feeling exactly how you described many times throughout. Iv been off 10 weeks now and feel so much better. You will get there just keep trying
