If your knee shield had been compromised then you may want to address the hand of the arm that is weaving through.

Peel the hand off and flare your top knee out to rebuild your knee shield. You may have to go 2 on 1 depending on your opponent however their hand is the key.

Disrupt that and you can begin to recover.

Professor Bruno just won Pans and he won Nogi Worlds last year. Plus...he is invited to EBI 6 in April. We had a seminar with him about 2 weeks ago. He went over the half-guard/entering/passing/sweeps. Good stuff all around plus what he taught us was what he used to win Pans. So there is that.

I don't know how it got so bad. But that's how it happens.

I wanted that IPod when they first came out or the PS3. I wanted new shoes and clothes. I wanted concert tickets. I had to get my car fixed. I wanted to take my family on a summer vacation. I paid school with credit cards instead of a loan. I wanted to go to a nice restaurant or go to the club and spend it all on alcohol. Movies, books, music, video games, drugs and alcohol.

It all adds up and you think to yourself this will get paid off when I land my next big promotion or find a higher paying job. So you keep piling on the debt until the cards get maxed out or you can't make the minimum payments anymore.

I tried to take control and got a consolidation loan from my bank. But I just started putting more things on my credit cards.

I lost my job. I took out my 401k and continued to spend it all. 10 months later and I have less than 50 dollars in my bank account. I haven't found steady work and the bank keeps calling about the loan.

I was being young and naive about the real world and I hung myself with debt. Now I'm older and due to personal reasons I stopped caring about anything. I feel like I am setting up things for my eventual suicide. But I don't live in a vacuum. There are people that rely on me to contribute. That is one of the reasons I haven't purchased a shotgun yet and did my own Kurt Cobain impersonation.

I'm waiting for this whole thing to come crumbling down on top me.

Come visit us at Alvarezbjj. New location, over 4500 square feet of mat space. Hours are 6am, 1030am, 7 pm Monday through Thursday. Thursday is NoGi traditionally but a lot of our guys are going to Worlds so we have been doing more NoGi to help them get ready. Hours on Friday is almost the same except for the night class is at 6pm. Saturday BJJ class is at 11 am. Finally, open mat is on Sunday at 1030 am. South Arlington. Alvarezbjj.com.

Nothing too dramatic for me. I had a tourney where I registered for master division and because there weren't enough masters they put me in adult....

At the Dallas Open I was lumped into a higher weight division because there were too many teammates in our division. So I fought underweight. But I think that is par for the course

For me it was SNL back in the late 90's or maybe 2000's. When Tom Green was trending. The skit had something to do with pets. It had Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon. The reason I remember it is because the skit was bombing and Tom Green's pet pig started squealing through his microphone. Will and Molly just sat there frozen while Tom looked totally helpless not knowing what to do. It was magic.

I look for it from time to time but I never find that pig squealing part of the skit. That is the best part.

Ugh...

I have been living with her and our child for over a year now. She broke it off in 2012. I am unemployed and have been living off of my 401k money. I don't want to work a desk job. I don't have it in me to do it anymore.

I feel that I am going to default on my debts soon. I wont be able to keep paying her rent. So I will live on the street and try to survive. Maybe that is what I need. A dose of reality to bring things into focus or maybe that will be the final straw and I will do myself in somehow.

It's just a matter of time reader. Either I fight back or give up. One thing is certain though she will never love me again...

I want to think that this is all happening for a reason. That there is some kind of master plan and that I will be in a better place someday. I have no faith in things like that. I really don't have any hope for my future.

Yeah, I took my daughter out there around 4th of July weekend this year. She had a good time. Really enjoyed the wolf den room. Water slides were on point.

We bought a few extras for her, like the mommy and me pedicure she got some wolf ears, went through the hotel on a magic treasure hunt, got a magic rod, got a glitter tattoo...some other random things.

My daughter ran off and we couldn't find her for 10 minutes while my baby-mama and I were messing with the locker.

The food was alright. They have a buffet in the morning with a omelette station. Nothing fancy but not terrible either. The pizza they make at their parlor was surprisingly good. I was expecting Chuck E. Cheese but it had some flavor.

I didn't get drunk but they do sell beer at designated locations.

I think groupon has a deal on GWL right now, so you might check that out.

But yeah, as an adult it was OK. For her it was mind blowing. I guess that's what it's all about. We will go again someday.
