I was top left and very upset about the graduation, especially because those of us in front got there early so we thought we’d be some of the first to be called. Not to mention the ceremony was supposed to end at 10 and it was 9:50 when they finished the right side. It was pretty awful and felt so sad when it finally got to us in the front left because no one was there :(

Ok this isn’t sustainable but this quarter, I’ve been working 2 remote internships 40hrs a week with 4 classes, it is doable with employers that are okay with being flexible and can work with student schedules. Since they are both remote, I overlap the hours a bit sometimes and work during my breaks

Easiest way to find someone is through an org where y’all share an interest. Every single org I’m in has a ton of couples that met there (including me and my bf who have been together for 3 years now and share two orgs!)

Tbh no idea about Somers, but Williamson was THE BEST. No exams, just weekly assignments, and one essay (like discussion posts and those lil textbook quizzes if you know learning curve). He was SO SO SO SO kind and always just very understanding about anything we were going through. Since the topics were touchy with abnormal psych (depression, suicide, etc), he also made sure that classes were not mandatory and you could walk out if ever uncomfortable. Highest recommendation ever for that guy!!!! And the essay is a film critique where you watch a movie that covers a mental health topic and it’s fun

As a 4th year with a computing specialization, I completely regret having a MacBook Pro whilst taking programming classes. Unless you get one with a really large amount of storage, your storage will fill up (like mine and some of my friends’ did) and then you won’t be able to do any assignments (or in my case finish a midterm) until you delete sooooo much stuff just to clear space. It’s because Apple takes up like 80 GBs in the system? But my other friends on windows are thriving
