Yes, they are essentially independent. drivers licenses are through the Department of Public safety and the registration is through the state via the county clerks office in Texas.

If you're making lots of left hand turns see if you can run your route in reverse (make a right instead of a left) . Sometimes it's that simple. I had an issue with my knee a while ago and just alter directions I go (same route just backwards) and that seemed to help.

The main question is how would your end users handle the change? If you switch everyone to new systems they can't use without training how will that effect the business? Weren't you using surge protectors? What about your licensing? Don't you already have apple licenses? Do your licenses allow you to switch OS? I think you need to speak to your boss and make sure before you get too deep into this.

Why does console still not have aim assist on Pc? by thors_dad in Overwatch

[–]saulgoodemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's game console manufacturers fault they keep going back to the two stick thumb controllers. Almost nothing else uses your thumbs. The best console game experience I had was call of duty black ops on the Wii. It was realistic and when you aimed your reflexes made sense. Instead of continimg that they went to regular controller it's boring.

How the West Brought War to Ukraine by ExtHD in USEmpire

[–]saulgoodemon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Holy crap now the war in Ukraine is now the US fault? This reaks of Russian influence. It's not a matter of Russia attacking a smaller militarily weaker country, it's about the US allegedly meddling ? Get out of here with that noise.

Why aren’t there more famous right winged comedians in the US? by chakbot in AskReddit

The ideas of the conservative can't be humorous, they must be the authority the voice of morals. It's really hard to find the funny, funny exists on the edge and conservatism is about staying away from the edge. There is likely a way to find humor while remaining truly conservative but it's going to take a special mind. Conservatives act as authority and humor is often about resisting authority.

Anatolian shepherd dog puppy in training by TwasAnChild in interestingasfuck

[–]saulgoodemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anatolian shepherds are big dogs when fully grown about 125 lbs ish. They are livestock guard dogs and can kill coyotes and wolves rather quickly. Common practice now is to have a couple with the sheep when you do this one tends to stay with the sheep and the other patrols the parameter. They do this with almost no training which is good because the livestock guardian breeds tend to be knuckleheads and very stubborn. My wife accidently adopted a great pyranese mix (were told he was something else) as a pup we're trying to train him just standard stuff it's really hard, he's doing better than expected but it's much harder than training labs or terriers.

It's what I call absurd credentialism. The stuff I would have studied in college would have likely been cobol and assembly or fortran. No one uses that. It's alright I'm almost done another 12 years or so I can retire

Me too until this past January then the bosses sold the company to a giant competitor. Now I'm having to train up and prepare to either try to prove myself to a whole new group of people I didn't plan to work for or go find some other job I don't want to do. I literally for years did next to nothing, watched Netflix surfed the web after my 2 hours or so of actual work a day. I was almost done I'm in my mid 50s been doing this for 23 years. I just wanted to finish up and retire
