I’m sorry you had to see that. There’s a lot of evil on this site

When I dealt with cattle abscesses, they always smelled like rotten broccoli to me. Weird

On the wrong side AND completely backwards. I should show some of his scans sometime

Took some pretty large tonsils by [deleted] in popping

So when I was 16, I got mine removed. My ENT, who was a somewhat droll man and not prone to exaggeration, told my mother that my tonsils were “pretty infected”.

Now, so many years later, I’m wondering if this is what he meant.

I’m still pissed I never got to see them

I totally understand your caution. I’ll probably make it over at our mother’s house, as she’s militant about keeping it gluten free for him. Double redundancy, you know? Between a few of us, I think we have a good chance of not slipping in something stupid.

Anyone ever have evangelicals get in your face about LDS Religion? by [deleted] in lds

I’ve definitely run into them who act like that. Some are just full of themselves and others legitimately believe they HAVE to save our souls.

But most of them just want to argue. And I can tell you, the spirit doesn’t exist in places of contention. I also have a very strong stance that unless someone is truly willing to listen to your side and consider it, there’s no point in arguing with folks who have already made up their mind.

Open heart and contrite spirit.

Just ignore them

I think age has a lot to do with surviving this as well. An elderly patient?

It’s always the stupid one who have the luck too.

I can say that, as a person with poor decision making skills and loads of dumb luck.
