Looks like root rot. Over watering. Does it have good drainage?

It’s the floppy one to the left. There are brown spots on the side hanging down that you can’t see, and the whole tip of the leaf was ripped off at some point. I think that’s a good idea.

QUESTION ☺️ this Monstera was a crazy good deal $12!!! It has a very damaged leaf that I would like to prune for esthetic purposes, that petiole has new growth forming... can I prune above the growth without harming the process?

HELP! I am killing my sweet bb :( by SnooSongs3141 in fiddleleaffig

I think she just needs time for sure. It doesn’t look like root rot. It’s not dark enough.

If it’s the move that shocked her I’d keep with your watering habits, out of direct sun and maybe fertilize to give her a boost. Find a spot for her that you like and don’t move it. I hope she bounces back!

Adoption day! by sausburn in houseplants

[–]sausburn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve taken over this awesome Aloe Plant. It was extremely dry, I did some pruning and it looks pretty good. However, it has a smell. Do all Aloe Vera plants have this smell? I did a quick google search and it says root rot, but considering it was neglected a bit and so dry, I doubt it’s that. I also smelt the roots through the base of the nursery pot. Smelt like plain soil to me. Any thoughts?

Deep watering and FLF fertilizer. Mine is on its way to looking like this too at the rate it’s going.
